salone del libro torino
I recently had the pleasure of contributing to shaping the exhibit space of Politecnico di Torino at the Salone del Libro (book fair).
Together with Andrea Di Salvo, Alessandro Campanella, Silvia Barbero and the communication team by Polito, we designed an experience that, in line with the fair topic of ‘imaginary life’, would invite visitors to indulge in exploring possible design futures and the intertwining with ecological and digital transitions.

We developed a set of cards grouped by colour and showing a different snippet of text. The cards can be combined to form prompts that can then be used for generating images with a text-to-image AI tool. Visitors were then invited to choose different objects, materials, styles, and features and with these, to imagine what future projects could be shaped. The objects and styles were chosen to reflect the themes characterising the courses and identities of
Politecnico di Torino: from vehicles to architectures, moving to robots, satellites, packaging and up to entire cities.
