visiting Beijing again

Eight years ago, while I was doing my PhD, I spent 8 months as a visiting researcher at the Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University, hosted by Prof. Haipeng Mi. This was a pivotal experience in my career; it’s when I got to design Shybo.

Last week of March, I finally had the opportunity to be in Beijing again and connect with the amazing colleagues I collaborated with back then. Haipeng Mi hosted me again at Tsinghua University, where I gave two lectures in his courses. I got to talk about “UX Design opportunities and challenges in the age of AI everything” and about “AI at the crossroad of Art and Design”. I also gave the second lecture at the School of Architecture and Design, Beijing Jiaotong University, where Yuan Yao hosted me in her course. This was an intense and truly inspiring week. I can't wait to visit again!
