Assemblea gruppi sid

Together with Amina Pereno, Chiara Lorenza Remondino, and Ali Filippini, I recently organized and hosted the Assemblea dei Gruppi di Lavoro Bottom-Up, a national meeting part of the initiatives of the SID, the Italian design research society. The event was held on November 4-5, 2024, at Castello del Valentino, at Politecnico di Torino.

The assembly focused on "Ambiti, Azioni e Impatto" (Themes, Actions, and Impact), aiming to map, visualize, and connect the strategic role of national design research in its various forms.

The event brought together the Italian academic design research community to discuss and collaborate on these topics and collaboratively define what could be meaningful criteria for assessing the impact of design research. The program combined talks from board members of the Società Italiana Design and representatives from the design professional world.
